Eradicate Hate is proud to serve as a non-partisan resource for youth that educates them on how to prevent hate-fueled violence. Learn more about our youth programs and how get involved below. If you are a young person and looking for resources for yourself, here are a few to help you get started:

UP End Hate

UP End Hate is a national, non-partisan community awareness campaign that equips young people ages 12-22 with the resources and skills. UP End Hate aims to empower youth by providing the tools and training they need to prevent hate-fueled violence and create safer communities.

The Student Summit

A one-day event bringing together high school students and educators to raise awareness about hate-fueled violence and foster action through peer-to-peer presentations, interactive workshops, film viewings, and interactions with survivors. The Pittsburgh Student Summit occurs concurrently with the annual Global Summit and is run by the Allegheny Intermediary Unit in collaboration with Eradicate Hate and the LIGHT Education Initiative. Student-led projects are supported by seed funding from the Grable Foundation.

The Pittsburgh Student Summit has grown exponentially since its inception in 2022 – we are anticipating over 400 students, chaperones, and guests from at least 37 schools across Southwestern PA and beyond at the 2025 Student Summit. Efforts are underway, led by the K-12 Education Working Group, to replicate the Student Summit in other cities across the United States.
