Neil Saul serves as Assistant Director of Programs for Eradicate Hate. In this role, he leads the Prevention Practitioners Network (PPN), the Reach Out Resource Hub, several working group initiatives, and coordinates their annual marquis event, the Eradicate Hate Global Summit.

As the largest network in the U.S. dedicated to building capacity among practitioners working to prevent all forms of targeted violence through a public health approach, Neil leads the development of PPN’s workshops, trainings, and outreach. Now over 2,300 practitioners, he spearheads the growth of PPN and provides those professionals with the available relevant tools and research to inform their practice.

Neil manages the development of the Reach Out Resource Hub, a platform providing supportive resources for bystanders, friends, loved ones, survivors, victims, and even those most at risk for committing acts of targeted and hate-fueled violence. In his capacity with Eradicate Hate, he also coordinates several working groups and the development of their initiatives, designs and conducts programmatic surveys, leads their artificial intelligence resource assistant, and oversees the logistics for the Global Summit.

He serves on the Editorial Board for Homeland Security Today’s Prevention vertical.

Before joining Eradicate Hate, he worked as the senior program coordinator for preventing targeted violence at the McCain Institute, where he worked to grow the Prevention Practitioners Network and other preventing targeted violence programs.

Neil holds a master’s degree in U.S. foreign policy and national security from the American University in Washington, D.C., where he focused on human rights and mass atrocity prevention. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and sociology from the University of Georgia. He has previously worked for the McCain Institute, the Cato Institute, the International Rescue Committee, AirWars, and the Military Commissions Defense Organization.
